UES weaves this flannel at 14.5 oz, more similar to denim weight than your everyday flannel, from thick reactive-dyed cotton yarns on vintage power looms, and the slubs and small flaws in the cloth are left in. The outside is unbrushed and the inside is lightly brushed. The seams are double chainstitched, the chest pockets have acorn-shaped flaps and the buttons are palm nut. UES finishes the shirt with a wash, removing most shrinkage.
