This overshirt is cut from Iron Heart’s 12oz ultra heavy flannel. The cloth is a twill woven from Aspero cotton, brushed once on the face and twice on the reverse, which makes it thick, warm and wind-resistant. The shirt is sewn from yarn-dyed flannel, then overdyed camel as a finished garment, which deepens the color and softens the hand without losing any weight. The cut is a roomy work shirt, meant to be worn as an outer layer or over a tee and thermal. It has a straight back yoke and straight hem, split-seam side gussets borrowed from Iron Heart’s mechanic shirt, and two patch chest pockets, each with a pen slot.
